for so long ive been such a fan and follower of jeremy scott. hes a total genius when it comes to his collection concepts. they all might not mesh but they have this wackiness that pulls them all together. hes definitely one of my inspirations, hands down. so i was up til 3am the other night searchig the web and blog after blog for any video of his latest collection. i knew he was showing in paris for fall 2009 fashion week because my friend Lily was going to his show last week. So anyways i finally found some pictures, and here they are... jeremy scott sporting his signature mickey hightops...
i stumbled upon these designers while watching gay news on the Logo channel. Its a duo of two men designers, one being an obvious blonde tranny. check them out they make some pretty hot pieces. their signature piece is an embelished corset that takes up to 6 weeks to make. thats was DIY (do it yourself) gone crazy hahaha. they have made dresses for britney, rhianna and fergie. excess is essential! hahaha
heres some video footage of them announcing their collaboration with britney then a few clip from their fashion shows. enjoy! <3
Ive been on a bit of a hiatus! sorry i just have been working on garments for my new collection & in doing that i have decided to wen myself from my computer to do so. (pictures comming soon!)
So my boyfriend often lets em know about designers he sees in magazines and Patrik Ervell was one of them. I like this guys style, the silhouettes are repetitive but the color schemes and layering add dimension to each outfit.
Jean Charles De Castelbajac is such a fun designer, pushing the limits but at the same time letting the sky be the limit! I'm a big fan of his work in previous years as well. His colors are always bright and eye catching but what i like most are the silhouettes he creates. enjoy! He hasnt aired his fall 2009 collection but here is is spring 2009 show:
