long time gone, lots to catch up on
i really need a laptop because the reason i dont update is because i hate sitting at the computer typing. Id feel more comfortable sitting in my bed watching one of my guilt pleasure reality shows haha
i just had a realy fun fashion show at the standard downtown LA, it was amazing and such a rush.

i just got a really good opportunity to design a exclusive line for "mademoiselle boutiwue" here in the san fernanndo valley, ill do a small run of 24 pieces including dresses, tops, capes and shorts/skirts, im really excited and the store is even more excited to carry a local designer like me.
although my clothing sometimes leans more towards the masculine vs feminie side, i want to create a line for them that is versatile from the office to the streets, out to dinner then a drunk night on the town. this is one of many opportunities that ive recently been handed, so im gonna take it and run with it.

manson truely started the revolution.
whether youd like to believe it or not, he has been there done that. pushing the limits and breaking the F**K right through them, manson has always been one to make a statement and make people talk. "if people arent talking , then why do they have mouths"-m.manson once said in an alternative press interview in the mid 90s. hes conquered so many fashion trends that are now in current rotation. the defined shoulder, the androgynous look, excentric makeup and face paint, over the top hats, torn and ripped to shred get ups and a hue F**K YOU attitude that most these days try and filter through their style. i praise him not only for his music but for his impact and inspiration on my career as a creative individual that produces garements not only for the purpose of warmth and coverage but garments that with make them talk.

i made a dress for London Fierce's xmas performance at mustache mondays this past week. she looked amazing. ill post a pic when i get one.
im working on our next project, which is a costume for her (london) performance on NYE. Ive been searching long and hard for some inspiration, i mean i have a n idea of what i wanna do but im still open to new ideas.
its almost xmas, but i dont feel the same about it as i would like 10 years ago lol
to end this quick update imma post some pix that i found today and have not stopped examining them lol

gotta love COLOUR!
no matter how dark each collection is getting from everyother designer (it seems like maybe 2 out of every 5) , i love when the spring/resort collections start peeking through. i found some looks that will brighten your outlook on a near dark fall season.

i call it the "stingray vest" because of its shape and when you lay it out it resembles a stingray, OH! minus the tail haha
its white nylon/jersey blend fabric with glitter spots all over.
to me its UNISEX because i would and probably will wear it out one day if i dont sell it first.
it drapes very nice in the front, and the back is pinguin style. the pix dont do it justice but here they are...

so good news, i got some info about a store (wont be named until i find out more info) that is looking to carry the collections of new designers. so im already getting ready my fashion show that has now been moved til september. All i have to do is pull 20 garments that i think best represent my line and present them to the store in about a week and a few days. im super excited but also very much nervous. wish me luck!
oh and while N o T finishing my garments that i need to get done....ive made a few side projects. ive made two necklaces out of old necklaces that i used to wear. look what the outcome was.
the pix arent high quality but i dont care, shove it!
this on is made out of those lil plastic beads that as a child in school we would put them on flat molds of happy faces and hearts and the teacher would iron them and we would put them on necklaces. i dunno if you get it but yeah...

this one is composed of lots of distressed silver chains, all different sizes and types of chain, and each one has a zipper head on them. they are all tangled with eachother but i think it gives it a better effect plus after a night of dancing with this on it will look like this anyways hahaha

Alright SO what ive been absent for a little bit, i mean a pretty long time but i still dont have my computer back but im forcing myself to deal with this slow 1980's machine i have sitting on my counter at home.
Lots of things have been going on but im not going to bore anyone with those details. Rather show you pix from the last few weeks since turning 24 in Las Vegas. First off, im really obsessed with Balmain. I know everyone and their mothers are too but I swear if i was a chick i would own almost every piece of their collections. There are MANY and i say MANY knock off balmain dresses but when you see a girl in an original you will know it. These looks are from the RTW Fall 2009 collection. Lots of grey, black, silver, studs and the ever so flashy...SEQUINS!

i refused to use this piece of crap computer we were loaned until our computer was finsihed getting repaired but ive had the itch to update because its now been over a month since i last updated this b**** ! haha
so my first update is going to be about "people who put huge 5x6 famous stars and straps stickers on their vehicles"
what is that all about?
i mean what kind of status do they think it gives them. i understand having a band sticker, or a college you attend or attended, a sports team you love or even a memorial sticker(which i dont totally agree with either). Seriously though, what the hell does having a big huge FUCKING "F" on your car mean?
we all know your not the owner of the company, and that its definitely not a company car lol
im really taken back by this, i see them everywhere... in the valley (818), santa clarita valley and OF COURSE the good ole Orange County (the OC, lol)
does it indicate that your "FAMOUS"? because thats an even more lame reason to post it up on your car hahaha
if you have one on your car, your pathetic
if you know someone with one on their car, tell them they are pathetic
if you see someone driving with one on their car, honk at them and flip them off for me hahahaa
im done for now, back to sketching and reconstructing a few vintage dresses
